How did the pageant start? Len Kaplan, President and Founder started this pageant in 1978 as a Lions Club Fundraiser. It has progressed and is now a non profit corporation. Back to Top
How do I become a Contestant? To be a contestant, you must be a female who is age 58 or older. Back to Top
What takes place at our pageant? Rehearsals, tours, finest meals, visit with dignitaries, special performances for shut-ins, as well as 2 full days of Pageantry. Back to Top
Do contestants have to get involved in state pageants first and win them or do we just go to Massachusetts and do our thing? The answer is No you do not have to get involved in a state pageant. You can come directly to us. Just fill out the application on the web site and we will send you a packet with all the information. Back to Top
Will I be eliminated by what I write on the application forms or how do you eliminate? The answer is No one is eliminated from the pageant. Everyone stays for 11 days to rehearse 2 production numbers. They will be judged on talent, Interviews and evening gown walk by a panel of 7 judges. Entertain at Nursing Homes, be treated to luncheons and dinners by local dignitaries, take a tour and have lots of fun activities.
